At Tigertail's we specialize in guided airboat tours through the heart of the Everglades.
Our experienced guides take you on an exciting airboat ride through grand open areas and sawgrass trails to  hammocks (or tree islands) that have been passed down through generations of the Tigertail family.

Operating out of the Miccosukee reservation close to Miami, we are one of only four companies allowed to run in Water Conservation Area 3a, and the only one to offer private tours. On our  hammock, which was originally used as a hunting camp by the Tigertails, we raise young gators and turtles as well as care for, rehabilitate and relocate abandoned, injured and "nuisance" animals.  . Here you will experience the Everglades first hand as you handle baby alligators and turtles, and learn about the wildlife, the history of the area and the proud people who inhabit it.

Our 30 minute tour is our shortest tour you can reserve and is also our walk-in (No reservations) tour. On this tour you make one stop on our private hammock where we care for and rehabilitate nuisance or injured wildlife.

We should note that we mainly work by reservation so we're not always available for walk-in visitors.

On our one hour tour you stop on our  private hammock and also make an additional stop on a second hammock where the Tigertail family used to live. This hammock is still setup as a living camp and is rich in history. There is a family of wild alligators that live there so we might get a chance to introduce you to the twelve foot "Papa Gator".

Our 2 hour tour stops on both islands and also gives us the opportunity to ride around a bit more. Giving us better chances at seeing the wildlife out in their natural enviroment.

Group rates, longer, private, and night tours as well as more specialized tours such as bird watching or filming are available, email us through our contact page or contact us at (786)404-1139 or (305) 439-2745  for additional details.

Once we start our tours for the day, it can be a little difficult to get us on the phone. Please leave a message, text or email and we will contact you as soon as possible.
